New Release : TAG Heuer Men's CV2014.FT6007 Carrera Automatic Chronograph Day-Date Watch

TAG Heuer traces its roots to the small Swiss village of St-Imier where, in 1860, a watchmaker named Edouard Heuer opened his first shop. His vision was to create remarkable timepieces that pushed the envelope of innovation and precision. The company's reputation grew, and Heuer's first patent for a chronograph mechanism in 1882 was followed by a long list of achievements: the first stopwatch accurate to 1/100 of a second, the first dashboard stopwatch for race cars, the first miniature electronic timekeeping device accurate to 1/1000th of a second, and the first automatic movement with a microrotor, to name just a few.

Over the years, Heuer's reputation for gold-standard precision earned the company the privilege of providing official timing services for a number of world-class competitive sporting events, including the Olympic Games, the FIS Ski World Cup, and the FIA Formula 1 World Championships. To this day, TAG Heuer maintains a close association with the world of competitive sports and enjoys a devoted following among sports celebrities and enthusiasts. In 1985, Heuer joined the TAG (Techniques D'Avant-Garde) group, and the TAG Heuer name and logo were created. Now one of the most recognized and sought-after watch brands in the world, TAG Heuer continues its reputation of innovative design and technological excellence, creating prestigious timepieces that are always at the cutting edge of precision, reliability and style.

Automatic movement
Black dial with hours, minutes, seconds chronograph, day-date, and tachyemeter
Black leather strap
Stainless steel case with black PVD covered aluminum bezel
Water-resistant to 330 feet (100 M)

1. This watch looks great. The details are just right. Handsomer on your wrist than in a photo. It can be had in white face, with metal band, etc, if you prefer.
2. Large face means Day/date and the second hand counter (at nine o'clock position) are easy to see.
3. Waterproof. My watch is often under gloves or at least splashed with water many times daily. There is an option for a handsome rubber strap, too.
4. The buckle adjusts on the strap so you can precisely choose your fit. It's not plus or minus one link, no jeweler required. You can adjust it anytime in seconds.
5. Amazon is not an authorized dealer. So you won't find a TAG Heuer warranty card in the box. Amazon provides their own two year warranty which covers pretty much everything. That's double TAG's one year warranty. I find it has advantages over the "authorized" deal. I am comfortable with it because Amazon is trustworthy in my experience, and they are everywhere. Not so TAG dealers. This is the trade off for the better pricing. You decide if you are comfortable with it.
6. You have a 30 day return window. This was key for me.
7. Amazon's customer service for fine watches is different. Very impressive. They call and email you, and you have a toll free number to call without the usual procedure used to get a call back from customer service.

This watch is fantastic! I can't believe how many people complain that this is overpriced! How can you compare the pure beauty of this to some small problems like money? Let's be honest most of us have at least a $250k leisure budget each year & this easily fits in. If you are trying to save money, buy this watch! Can you measure the importance of being on time always?? Also there are some great features about this that are not listed here. For example, I bought this watch shortly after both of my arms had been lost in a horrible jenga accident.

Only a few short weeks after buying this watch, it grew my arms back for me! The back of the watch will slowly open up & the da Vinci code will be revealed to you. It also is powered by yellowcake uranium, which was a small problem at first, but I've got a guy now! So here is the bottom line, I am positive that if you buy this watch you will inherit a small European country, all the models in a 50 mile radius will be throwing themselves on the hood of your Maybach as you speed to the club, unicorns will appear in your servant's quarters, and most importantly people will look to you as a leader, a sign of pure intellect. This watch can also be used for a hearty soup.

i never bothered to fix the watch but i wear it nearly every day as a deep sea CWI at depths of nearly 500 feet. the only complaint i have is that the watch fogs up during these dives and i have to replace the duct tape i use to hold the worn out band together with each dive. some times while inspecting during a weld process i accidently arc out the case of the watch or spatter will embed itself into the crystal. at one point durring a dive there was so much spatter that the adjustment knob was welded into the body of the watch. this watch is showing alot of wear.

Zenith was created in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot, who, at age 22, was one of the first watchmakers to understand the importance of the principle of interchangeable parts.

It's said that one night after Jacot finished a movement he considered almost perfection he went out and looked at the stars and he felt the stars almost speak to him. He saw the gigantic constellation turning around the Pole star similar in the complexity to the movements of the pivots and the wheels on their axes. He decided then to call his new movement and its manufacture after the word that designates the highest point in the universe, ZENITH, the star was adopted as a brand symbol as it is still today.

By the time Jacot stopped working in 1929, Zenith had made watch history, winning grand prix medals for timekeeping precision at international expositions in Geneva, Paris, Barcelona, and Neuchatel.

In 1969, the company gained renown for introducing the world's first automatic chronograph movement, the El Primero. Oscillating at 36,000 alternations/hour, the El Primero was able to measure short intervals to a tenth of a second, an unsurpassed world record.

In 1995, Zenith launched a new generation of ultra-thin chronographs, the Elite, recently voted best mechanical movement by the professional press.
Chuck Norris riding into the Super Bowl on the back of Godzilla and round house kicking the crowd is no where near as awesome as this priceless poon magnet. When I was just moments from sending my $100k to some needy neo-hippie help group, I stumbled onto this gem. It was like the heavens opened and Jesus himself appeared with this same watch on. I mean how can you not follow Jesus when he's rocking a watch of this caliber. So I asked "What would Jesus do?" Jesus pimp smacked me and said "Forget those hippies, buy the watch!" I was like "HECK YEAH." I busted out my Discover card and bought this rocking piece of art. I mean its art but its also practical too. Like when I take my summer trips to the Marianas Trench, I have no more worries that I am going to miss Tea Time back on the yacht, because water ruined my watch again.
